Qing Ming Festival 2023 falls on 5 April 2023. Although it is not a public holiday in Singapore, many Chinese people will go tomb sweeping (扫墓）, visit and honour their love ones who have passed on. They will bring food offerings, flowers, burn incense (烧香）and paper money （金银纸）. They will usually visit the grave sites / columbarium during a 21 days period (10 days before the actual day and 10 days after the actual day).

This year, the praying area is being set up in front of the newly renovated Block B. When arrived at the praying area, please proceed to the registration area where by our customer service will confirm your appointment and allocate a table number to you. Then you can proceed to get the tablets (箭牌）written with the help of our staffs. After that, you can then go to the allocated praying table to start your preparation of your prayers.
Praying sequence to follow:
- Pay respect / Pray to 地藏王菩萨
- Pay respect / Pray to 土地公
- Pay respect / Pray to Nirvana’s 众祖先
- Invite 祖先 / love ones who have passed on to come enjoy the food offerings
